We are not just a brand of wood boards. We are THE brand of wood boards that chooses and transforms noble living matter, filled with history which will never die - as we will bring it back to you.
We combined sustainability and ecology with the natural beauty of wood, and the result is in plain sight.
Eventhough we work with a diversity of species, our pieces are mostly created from cork oak and olive tree - species chosen by their natural beauty and, simultaneously, endemic to Portuguese soils.
As a way to respect nature and all it has to offer us, we are very careful when it comes to acquiring our products, by not endorsing any kind of indiscriminate or illegal tree felling, whichever the species in question.
We buy our raw materials from trees that were cut down in a sustainable way by the landowners, in order to satisfy multiple needs, or due to the necessary annual pruning. This way, we transform trees with history in objects which will perpetuate those very same trees, and their very same history.

Our Oliwood with tree bark are conceived in a way to preserve the natural shape of the olive tree trunk. On the sides, we keep the bark so that it is possible to see, touch and feel the tree in all its original contrasts and textures.
These boards irradiate all nature and energy that derives from this amazing and inherently Portuguese species.
The surface presents a side with all the veins, and a soft and exquisite finish - going through a multitude of different stages until the desired state is achieved. Years of drying and careful preparing were necessary, under the most possible natural conditions.
All our pieces are dealt with and finished with our best feelings.
